Florida Creatives – Creating a Community of Innovation

The Coworking Ireland blog linked to us last week, so I decided I'd like to return the favor. Not only that, but they've got some really great statistics from a recent survey. For the rest of the results, read the full post.

What would attract you most to coworking?

Interaction with like-minded individuals was top of the agenda with 46.51%. While sharing the cost of an office space and the ability to collaborate and pool resources both came in at 18.60%. This is an interesting tidbit as its shows the cost of a space does not directly out way [sic] the ability to collaborate with others.

The Structure of a dedicated working [space] was low on the agenda with only 9.30% and the ability to network with others only received 4.65%.

For those of you not in the loop, Coworking is a concept centered around people working in related fields all sharing a space to work, collaborate and gather. Some people will be there full time and pay rent accordingly, while others will float and pay something more like a gym membership. Coworking spaces are wehre the Office Nomads and Pajama Warriors of the world will feel at home.
