FLCreatives manifesto
This is what it sounds like - something to print on the webpage, posters, Moo Cards, flyers and press releases to introduce people to the spirit of the group.
Feel free to submit your own version below - please copy and paste a section (or push the button with the big "A" on it) and put your name in the heading so we know who contributed that version. If you have something to say in comment to a particular posting, please wrap in "in quotes" and include - Your Name after the comment. ...? We should just use the blog for this, huh?
Ryan Price
- We all participate in the creative process, and
- We thrive on collaboration and inspiration, therefore
- Our nature is such that we seek out our fellows.
- People in groups can achieve what one can only aspire to.
- Creativity has tangible artifacts,
- Stories, Memories and Sparks living in our brains, so
- We are constantly seeking sparks and something to catch the spark;
- People can be a medium for spreading inspired flames.
- Creatives are not chained to "tried and true methods",
- We do what we can with the resources within reach;
- We defy convention and build something from not enough, and
- Innovation is our byproduct, not our pride.

"To keep with the 'Manifesto' idea, I tried to make each line have a complete thought, but then for the 3 lines to add up to something at the end of the stanza. I wrote this late one night when I had something to get out of my head. Corrections and revisions are very welcome. I don't know if this really hits all the points, but it's something to start with." - Ryan Price
